WHAT IS THE CLOSEDIN PODCAST?

Updated: May 22, 2024

Why should you listen to the Closedin podcast with Deborah Samson

…Have you ever imagined a peaceful you without anxiety?

…Have you ever wished for an out of body experience, where you can be detached from your problems?

….Have you ever wished for a magic potion that will make all your problems disappear?

….Have you ever wondered who sent you to earth to suffer?

….Have you ever wished you could just disappear and leave all your problems behind?

….Have you ever wished you could sleep and not wake up, just to leave your problems behind?

….Have you ever wished for a perfect life free from worry, anxiety, pain, debts, relationship problems, health issues?

….Have you ever wished for a fresh life without your existing problems?

….Have you ever felt lonely even in the midst of people, probably even among your family and friends?

….Have you ever wished bad stuff will happen to you just so you can avoid work or maybe on your way back home?

….Have you asked questions but no one seems to give you the answer, like everyone beats around the bush but no one really hits the nail on the head?

….Have you ever felt like, no one really gets you, like you are asking one thing but the answers you get are just off point? You are asking A, they are talking about Z and you are like from where to where?

….Have you ever felt like, does God see me? Like does he know I exist?

….Have you ever asked, “How does faith work?” or “Who is the Holy Spirit?”

….Have you ever felt like there must be more to life than all this auto-pilot life?

….Have you ever felt like there is more to you but you just can’t place your finger on it?

….Have you ever wished that you could meet that person that would get you, that would understand you, that would vibe on your frequency?

If you have ever asked any of these questions before, you are not alone, I have been there, still asking some of the questions and this is why the Closedin podcast was created; to answer these questions and more.

So,

WHAT IS THE CLOSEDIN PODCAST?

The Closedin podcast is a space where me, Deborah Samson (your host), you & God have honest conversations around questions bothering your heart,

with the goal that you leave feeling light, unburdened and free,

and the ultimate aim is that through our conversations and discussions, we become more like Jesus.

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
2 Corinthians 3:18, NLT

I don’t know if you’ve noticed how it seems that as things evolve,

even with all the light and advancement of knowledge, there seems to be more darkness, injustice, despair, confusion because of information overload,

like you have so much information you don’t know what to do with it and it leads to anxiety, worry and sometimes even depression,

and the list goes on and on…

This is WHY the Closedin podcast is here now, to serve as a light for clarity and direction, and a beacon of hope, peace, and freedom.

“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. 2 Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.
Isaiah 60:1-2, NLT

You might ask,

HOW DOES THE CLOSEDIN PODCAST WORK?

The core of the podcast is dedicated to answering your questions from God's perspective, like the What Would Jesus Feel/Do/Think? in your situation, with what you are passing through.

The Closedin podcast is centered around encouraging your spiritual growth;

that is helping you understand God better,

helping you discover your identity in Christ: seeing yourself the way God sees you, loving and accepting yourself,

improving your relationship with the people around you,

and helping you live a good, godly life in this fast paced ever changing world.

2 Peter 1:3, NLT Bible verse

So, you can send your question and I would dedicate a whole episode to answering it, your name will be kept anonymous if you wish.

You can send your questions to questions@closedin.org or DM me on Instagram.

There are times I would invite guests to answer your question if it’s beyond me or where appropriate.

I also host bible studies, book reviews centered on life themes, as the Lord leads.

You don’t have to do life alone, let’s do it together with God as we follow his lead.

Psalm 32:8, NLT Bible verse

If you’ve never had a relationship with God, or you did previously and you just turned away for whatever reason,

Today is another opportunity to reconnect back to your maker and lover.

So you will be saved, if you honestly say, “Jesus is Lord,” and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death.
Romans 9:10, CEV

You can say this with me:

Daddy God, I come to you through the name of your son, Jesus.

I know things have not been right and I’m sorry and repent from all my wrong doings and I ask that you forgive me.

Right now, I receive your life.

Thank you for translating me from the kingdom of darkness into your kingdom of light,

and thank you for making me your child,

in Jesus’ precious name, we’ve prayed.

Amen.

If you just said that prayer with me, Congratulations!!!

Please send me a DM on Instagram saying “Saved”.
